Disney Springs is celebrating the holidays with fun menu items at several of their food locations. One of these fun and festive dishes is the Gobbler Poutine. This can be found at the Poutine stand right next to the World of Disney store.
The Gobbler Poutine is basically a Thanksgiving twist on traditional poutine. It still has the gravy, cheese curds, and French fries but also includes turkey and cranberry chutney. The gravy was also a thinner gravy than I remembered when I tried the traditional. This dish actually wasn’t too bad. It was super filling and could probably be split between two people.
This festive holiday dish was $9.99 plus tax which isn’t horrible considered what you get. The serving was pretty decent. I do however miss the old bowls they used to serve their poutine in. I wasn’t a huge fan of the cardboard dish. It was pretty flimsy. I also felt like you got more food in the larger white bowls.
While this dish wouldn’t be my top choice again it did taste good and was nice and quick. We got to enjoy this on the way to see the Christmas Tree Trail. Make sure to check out Disney Springs for more of their Disney Springs Holidays with fun treats and entertainment.
