Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt will co-star in a movie adaption of “The Fall Guy.”
The Fall Guy movie is based on the TV show that aired from 1981 to 1986. The TV series centered on a film stuntman (originally played by Lee Majors) who spent his time off the clock as a bounty hunter.

The series focused on Seavers as he utilized his stunt background to capture all types of fugitives and criminals. In the television series, he was accompanied by his cousin and stuntman-in-training Howie Munson and a fellow stuntwoman named Jody Banks.
The Fall Guy will be directed by David Leitch, with a script by Drew Pearce, who is also serving as executive producer, along with Geoff Shaevitz and original series creator Glen A. Larson. So far, only two actors are confirmed to be part of the cast of The Fall Guy: Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt. Gosling, who is also serving as a producer, is expected to play the lead role of Colt Seavers, with Blunt playing Jody Banks.
Production is due to begin this fall in Australia, with a theatrical release slated for March 1, 2024.
