Disneyland’s Early Entry Program to End in January 2026

Disney just announced that the Disneyland Resort will end its early entry benefit for resort hotel guests in 2026. In its place, guests will now receive Lightning Lane access for one attraction.

Disneyland Resort hotel guests can continue to take advantage of early entry, which grants them access to a park 30 minutes before it officially opens each day of their stay. This benefit will be available through January 4, 2026, with either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure opening early on a rotating schedule.

• Disneyland Park: Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday
• Disney California Adventure Park: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday

During early entry, guests can enjoy shorter wait times for select attractions, as well as access to a few shopping and dining locations.

According to Disneyland officials, the early entry benefit was not widely used, which prompted their decision to end the offering. It will no longer be available starting on January 5, 2026.

Starting on January 5, 2026, Disneyland Resort hotel guests will instead receive one Lightning Lane entry to a select attraction for each night of their resort stay.
