Magic Kingdom’s DVC Lounge McKim’s Mile House Extends Hours for Evening Relaxation
Disney Vacation Club Members have a little more time to kick up their boots in Frontierland, because McKim’s Mile House at Magic Kingdom is now staying open later each day. The cozy Member Lounge, tucked near Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, has officially extended its operating hours to 11:00 am through 8:00 pm, giving Members two extra hours to enjoy a quiet break inside the park. Previously, the lounge wrapped things up at 6:00 pm, which often meant it was closed just as crowds were thinning out and evenings were getting more comfortable.

McKim’s Mile House serves as a relaxing indoor escape for eligible Disney Vacation Club Members and their guests, offering comfortable seating, complimentary soft drinks, Wi-Fi, and charging cords upon request. On-site Member Services Advisors are also available, making it a handy spot to cool off, recharge devices, and take care of DVC-related questions without leaving the park. Access remains first-come, first-served, and entry requires a valid Membership Card along with a matching photo ID, including for re-entry later in the day.

The later closing time makes McKim’s Mile House especially appealing for evening parkgoers who want a calm pit stop before fireworks or after a long Frontierland adventure. With more flexibility built into the day, DVC Members can now plan a sunset soda break or a post-dinner recharge without racing the clock, making this lounge feel a little more golden-hour friendly than ever.
