Austin DeVan Hill, 23, of Pensacola was charged Saturday night with aggravated battery and two counts of battery after he punched two male workers in the head and struck a female with a plastic pipe in an area off-limits to guests, according to an arrest report.
When an Orange County police arrived, Hill was already secured by another off duty officer in a seated position and was bleeding from the knees, wrists and hands, he still was yelling and continuing to cause a scene in the park.
According to reports, Hill was escorted by the two officers as he continued yelling incoherent statement and then began resisting attempts to escort him to the security office. At that time, Hill got out of the deputies’ hold, fell and began bleeding after injuring his chin and jaw.
Hill was transported to Celebration Hospital where he received stitches in his chin.Michael Connelly, the first victim, was punched in the head area causing a large gash across his forehead. Timothy Beltley, Hill’s second victim, was punched in the face. The third victim, Jessica Brown, was struck in the left cheek and neck with a plastic PVC pipe causing swelling behind her ear. Brown was treated on scene while Beltley and Connelly were transported to Celebration Hospital.
I want to know where he got the pipe from? Or how did he get it in?

From accounts I have been reading it sounds as if the International Food and Wine Festival has morphed into the International Wine and Beer Festival, with more emphasis on booze than food. Tales of unruly, intoxicated guests along with vomit-strewn grounds and bathrooms are a far cry from Disney’s “magical”, family-friendly roots. Three Disney cast members were injured in this one incident. Disney to take this into careful consideration and rethink their alcohol policies before something even more serious happens.
Saturday night at the F&WF, not really surprised. We saw terrible behavior and if we ever go again, we will not enter Epcot Friday, Saturday, or Sunday evenings.
It’s sad that this ugliness sometime happens at Disney. Unfortunately, jerks are everywhere.
