Drum Major Mickey Mouse leads a parade at Magic Kingdom during the 15th year of Disney Dreamers Academy. Designed alongside HBCU, Drum Major Mickey Mouse was unveiled yesterday during a special cavalcade at Disney’s Magic Kingdom.

Alongside Characters such as Tiana, Chip and Dale, Goofy, Daisy and Donald, and the Disney Dreamers Acadamy, the #be100 Youth were led by Mickey Mouse in his new outfit. Mickey carries a baton, is dressed in Black and Yellow, and knows how to step.

Kelly Rowland of Destiny’s Child fame was the Grand Marshell during this special Cavelcade that took the normal parade route.

Drum Major Mickey Mouse leads a celebratory parade at Magic Kingdom during the landmark 15th year of Disney Dreamers Academy at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. The Disney Dreamers Academy, taking place March 3-6, 2022 is a mentorship event hosted annually by Walt Disney World Resort that fosters the dreams of Black students and teens from underrepresented communities.
