Disney Store And Disney Parks Announce Droid Factory Friday Series
Get your credits ready, Star Wars fans, because “Droid Factory Friday” is officially coming to a galaxy near you! Disney Store and Disney Parks just dropped the news that starting January 2, 2026, we’re getting a brand-new droid figure on the first Friday of every single month. Whether you’re a die-hard collector or just someone who thinks a shelf looks better with a spunky astromech on it, this series is looking like a must-have. These aren’t just your standard builds, either, Disney is pulling inspiration from across the entire Star Wars timeline, including the movies, Disney+ series, games, and even the books.

What makes this series really stand out are the “elevated enhancements.” We’re talking more intricate designs and upgraded details that make these little guys feel premium. Plus, every droid comes with its own character trading card featuring unique artwork and lore, which is a total win for those of us who love the backstories. But here’s the real kicker: each of the first six monthly releases comes with bonus droid pieces. If you stay on top of the drops from January through June, you’ll have everything you need to assemble an exclusive bonus droid!
The fun kicks off right at the start of the year on January 2 at 8 AM PT with R5-K6, the sleek red-and-black astromech seen in A New Hope. If you miss that window, don’t worry, the schedule is already looking packed. Mark your calendars for February 6 to grab CW-24 (inspired by The Mandalorian) and March 6 for the arrival of Q2-K2 from The Clone Wars.
All releases go live at 8 AM PT on the first Friday of the month. Set those alarms, because if history tells us anything about Droid Factory releases, these won’t stay in the docking bay for long!
