Double the Action: Avengers Campus Expansion Coming to Disney California Adventure!

The Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure is about to get a massive upgrade, doubling in size with not one but two brand-new attractions that will have you suiting up and fighting alongside Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. Announced during the Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase at D23, this exciting expansion is set to kick off construction next year, and we can hardly wait!

First up, brace yourself for Avengers Infinity Defense, a multi-world adventure that will take you to iconic locations like Asgard, Wakanda, and New York City. The Avengers are in trouble—technology that allows them to jump between worlds has gone missing, and King Thanos is using it to wreak havoc across the universe. It’s up to you and your fellow recruits to team up with heroes big and small, from Thor to Ant-Man, as you race to stop King Thanos before it’s too late. And yes, you might just find yourself face-to-face with the Mad Titan himself.

But the excitement doesn’t stop there. If you’re up for another mission, Tony Stark has something special lined up for you. Introducing Stark Flight Lab, an all-new attraction where you’ll step into two-person pods and deploy to a test station. Just as you settle in, a robot arm grabs your pod and whirls you around in a simulated flight that will make you feel like a true Super Hero. And here’s the best part—Tony Stark himself will be there to guide you through the experience. That’s right, Robert Downey Jr. is reprising his iconic role as Iron Man for this attraction, making the adventure even more immersive and unforgettable.
