Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has crossed the $200 million mark at the domestic box office. Some analysts projected the film would achieve that number in its first three days, but it took the sequel until Monday to crack the milestone.
That amount of cash arguably is on par with what Avengers: Age of Ultron on its first Monday in 2015 — $13.2M — which put that MCU sequel at $204.4M through four days. Doctor Strange 2‘s Monday was down 66% off its Mother’s Day Sunday of $38.8M.

The highly anticipated sequel is the second highest-grossing opening weekend for Marvel Studios since the COVID-19 Pandemic and after the success of the partnered film ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home‘ ($260+ Million) with Sony Pictures.
“To restore a world where everything is changing, Strange seeks help from his ally Wong, the Sorcerer Supreme, and the Avengers’ most powerful Scarlet Witch, Wanda. But a terrible threat looms over humanity and the entire universe that no longer can be done by their power alone. Even more surprising, the greatest threat in the universe looks exactly like Doctor Strange.“
