There are tons of great ways to get ready for your Walt Disney World vacation, but one of my personal favorites is to recreate some of my favorite Disney Drinks at home! I love heading over to Disney’s beautiful Animal Kingdom Lodge for dinner at Boma or Jiko, or even just to say hi to the animals! Jiko’s cocktail menu is a personal favorite of mine – and I wanted to share with you how you can recreate two of their top sellers at home!

There’s the Sunriser, which blends some delicious fruit flavors (orange/banana/pineapple/cranberry) into a refreshing treat:

Sunriser

Ingredients

1. 1 1/4 ounce of Parrot Bay coconut rum

2. 1/2 ounce of banana liquor

3. 3 ounces of orange juice

4. 3 ounces of pineapple juice

5. 3 ounces of cranberry juice

Directions

1. Pour 1 1/4 ounce coconut rum and 1/2 ounce banana liquor into an ice filled glass

2. Fill glass with equal parts orange juice, pineapple juice and cranberry juice

If you’re in the mood for more of a “dessert” drink, then you may want to whip up some Zebratinis – which feature chocolate and coffee flavorings

zebratini

Ingredients

1. 1 ounce Stoli vanilla vodka

2. 1 ounce Godiva white chocolate liqueur

3. 1 ounce Frangelico

4. 1 ounce Amarula cream liqueur

5. 2 ounces (1 shot) espresso

6. whipped cream, optional

Directions

1. Stripe a martini glass with chocolate syrup.

2. Combine first 4 ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake vigorously.

3. Strain into striped martini glass. Shake espresso shot in shaker with ice and strain into center of martini.

4. Top with a layer of whipped cream if desired.

Sugar, caffeine, alcohol – this one has it all! And speaking of sugar…and alcohol…maybe you will want to whip up some delicious Zebra Domes to go with your drinks? Then you will really feel like you’re hanging out at the Animal Kingdom Lodge – and I can’t think of a better way to get excited for your next WDW trip!
