Disney’s Skyliner Celebrates 5 Magical Years in the Sky!

Walt Disney World’s Skyliner has officially turned five! Since its grand debut on September 29, 2019, the Skyliner gondola system has been whisking guests through the skies, offering a unique and magical way to travel around the resort. Whether you’re heading to EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, or one of several connected Disney Resort hotels, the Skyliner adds a touch of pixie dust to your journey.

Cast members celebrated the 5th birthday of the Skyliner with some fun props and photo ops. This state-of-the-art transportation system connects Disney’s Hollywood Studios and the International Gateway at EPCOT to Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, and Disney’s Riviera Resort. Guests can soar across the sky in charming, themed gondolas that feature magical Disney details.

In addition to offering breathtaking views, the Skyliner has quickly become a guest favorite for its smooth and fun-filled trips. Not only does it provide an efficient way to get around, but the gondolas also add an extra layer of Disney magic to your visit. With quick access to EPCOT’s International Gateway, guests can easily explore nearby destinations like Disney’s BoardWalk, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, Disney’s Beach Club Resort, and Disney’s BoardWalk Inn.
