As Anonymouse brought you this story last week, another step in the process of making Disney’s Magic Bands a reality has occurred. The “Magic Band,” made an appearance on the FCC today and there is a lot of new technical information now about it. The device is a wrist-worn, battery-powered device that operates in the 2.4GHz spectrum.
These bands are going to replace tickets in the future and are disposable and waterproof. They will have many unique powers to them, but at this point most of it is just guesswork to what all the wristbands will do and not do.
