Walt Disney World Golf Announces Major Enhancements Coming to Lake Buena Vista Course
Golfers, get ready to tee up some fresh magic. Walt Disney World Golf has announced a new round of enhancements coming to Disney’s Lake Buena Vista Golf Course, with upgrades scheduled from late spring through early fall 2026. These improvements follow recent updates at Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course and are designed to elevate both playability and overall course conditions.

The planned updates focus heavily on the greens and surrounding areas, with full renovations that include redesigned contouring and elevation changes. Guests can also expect improved green-side bunkers and chipping areas, upgraded irrigation systems to better maintain turf conditions, and new drainage systems in bunkers to help reduce water buildup after Florida’s frequent rain showers. Several tee boxes will also see enhancements, rounding out a pretty well-balanced scorecard of improvements.
Located within Walt Disney World Resort, Disney’s Lake Buena Vista Golf Course is known for its scenic layout winding through resort hotels, lush forests, and sparkling lakes. Often described as a more intimate, country club-style experience, the course has long been a favorite for guests looking to mix a little pixie dust with their backswing.

Disney has not announced any full closure at this time, but with construction spanning several months, golfers may want to check availability before booking tee times. Once complete, these enhancements promise to keep this course swinging strong well into the future.
