A Chocolate Masterpiece: Disney’s Grand Floridian Unveils Stunning 2025 Easter Egg Displays
The arrival of the 2025 Easter season at Walt Disney World has brought with it a feast for the eyes, particularly at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The resort’s elegant lobby has transformed into an art gallery of confectionery creations, showcasing 19 intricately designed chocolate egg showpieces crafted by the resort’s talented culinary Cast Members.

These edible works of art, strategically placed around The Grand Cottage, the resort’s Easter treat kiosk, are a testament to the skill and creativity of the Disney team. Each egg, meticulously crafted from a staggering 340 pounds of chocolate, 22 pounds of fondant, and 15 colors of cocoa butter, also cleverly incorporates a hidden Mickey, adding a touch of Disney magic to each display.

While some eggs were accompanied by cards detailing the creator and inspiration, a few were initially missing, adding an element of mystery to the exhibit. Here’s a glimpse into some of the breathtaking creations:

- Anxiety – “Inside Out 2”: Created by Fabi, this grand display captures the nervous energy of Anxiety from “Inside Out 2,” with the character standing amidst a sea of memory eggs.

- “One Hundred and One Dalmatians”: Monica’s creation features Cruella de Vil’s iconic scowl, London street scenes, and playful dalmatian puppies, with a hidden scene of Roger at his piano.



- “Beauty and the Beast”: This rotating egg showcases Belle and the Beast, with the Enchanted Rose nestled within.

- Madame Leota – The Haunted Mansion: Joann’s elegant white egg houses a sculpted Madame Leota, bathed in an eerie blue light.

- Expedition Everest: Mary Rose’s design pays homage to the thrilling Animal Kingdom attraction, complete with the lift hill, a Yeti silhouette, and intricate details of the ride’s signage.


- Walt Disney Animation Studios Characters & Pixar Animation Studios Characters: Two eggs are covered in a mosaic of various Disney and Pixar characters.

- Princess Sketches: Sketches and colored images of classic princesses adorn this egg.


- Al’s Toy Barn – “Toy Story 2”: Justine’s display features Al’s Toy Barn, a Pizza Planet truck, and an Etch A Sketch inspired design.

- “Tarzan”: Victoria recreates the iconic treehouse scene from “Tarzan.”

- Orange Bird: Stephanie’s egg features the beloved Orange Bird amidst gardening supplies.

- Maleficent Dragon Float – Festival of Fantasy Parade: Krysta brings the iconic parade float to life with metallic detailing and smoke effects.

- “Steamboat Willie”: Kate’s egg captures the classic animation with black detail work.

- Zootopia: Juan’s creation showcases the Zootopia skyline and characters.

- “Cinderella” 75th Anniversary: Meg’s egg celebrates the film’s anniversary with 3D bubbles and the original movie poster.

- Scrooge McDuck: Alicia’s egg depicts Scrooge McDuck diving into his treasure.

- “Brother Bear”: Jade’s egg features Kenai and Koda amidst cave drawings.

- “Dumbo”: Katie’s egg portrays Dumbo’s bath scene with Timothy Q. Mouse.

- The Evil Queen – “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”: Yadi’s egg features a sculpted Evil Queen and the Magic Mirror.

- “Atlantis: The Lost Empire”: Aurora’s egg depicts the floating stones and Heart of Atlantis.
The Easter egg displays will also be featured at Disney’s Beach Club Resort, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, and Disney’s Contemporary Resort beginning on April 1.
