I am so excited about the latest Disney Gossip. As if I need any introduction (drum roll please) it’s your favorite Disney Gossip — Anonymouse here! My little ears are hearing BIG Disney Rumors that Disney’s Frozen will have a sequel!!!
Disney’s Frozen has been anything but ice cold. It’s hot, hot, hot! With all of the success of the film, Disney CEO Bob Iger has already announced plans for a Broadway musical and the possibility of an upcoming sequel.
Did you know? Box-office records have been broken by Disney’s latest animation movie, Frozen. It’s also one of only five Disney animated films to reach No. 1 on the Billboard top 200 chart for their Broadway-bound soundtrack.
What’s your “rest of the story” idea for a sequel? Please share your thoughts in my comments section below.

Yes, Yes, PLEASE, Yes! #ymbada
As long as it isn’t something about Elsa falling in love.. I’m happy with whatever they do for a sequel.
Hmmm, I don’t know how to feel about this. It was a movie I felt was really complete at the end. I really hope they don’t ruin the characters. Does anyone know if the original actors will be back for the sequel? Probably to soon to tell, but that will make a big difference. #ymbada
I think a sequel would be a really good idea, and I was thinking you could use some of the material from the original episodic snow queen. There’s a troll who has a mirror that twists how people see themselves. My idea was that instead of the troll, the founders of arendelle were given a mirror that corrupts people and their perception of the world, formed by a devious band of trolls; these trolls have resurfaced after years hidden from the larger troll community and they want their mirror back, having learned of Elsa and her powers, they want to get their mirror back, but they don’t want it whole. They intend to smash it and strike Elsa in the heart to corrupt her to help the trolls to take over the world… well, that’s one idea… perhaps they kidnap anna to force elsa to come to them so they can get her…. not fully formed, but there it is
Although I do think Disney hasn’t had good sequels (I’m sorry, Disney, but it’s the truth), I really think a sequel for Frozen has potential. It needs to be about Kristoff and Anna! They need to live happily ever after together! THEY’RE JUST TOO CUTE.
I hope they don’t! Develop a new story and make it a success and quit trying to ride the shirt-tails of good, successful movies.
Will it be one of those straight-to-DVD sequels like Cinderella 2 & 3, Little Mermaid 2, etc.?
This is probably the best idea. Keep it a 30 minute short, though.
A Christmas movie! Elsa’s powers are needed to create snow, Sven meets Santa’s reindeers, Olaf and frosty…..so many possibilities!
NO NO NO! Disney sequels always suck!!! please no, don’t ruin this masterpiece! maybe another short like they did with Tangled but please not a full length sequel, Pixar is the only company that can pull this off so if you must please bring on the pixar story team or something!!! im freaking out
There are so many possibilities here–Weasletown makes war, still believing Elsa is a sorceress; a different, evil Ice Queen hears of Elsa’s powers and jealously comes to “train” her but really comes to get rid of her and take over so winter is eternal; Kristoff falls in love with an evil sorceress and Anna must save him (I rather like that one! Princess to the rescue!); Hans returns with an army to try to take over Arundel . . . and so many mini-plots, too! This could be so much fun!
