Ahhhh bella Italia. Your fantastic food, historic streets, charming people, and impeccable style. It’s no wonder we flock to you in every form possible. Dooney & Bourke is as perfect in fashion as Italy, and now they’ve been married in a must-have collection of purses!
Disney celebrates Italy at the World Showcase in Epcot, but now guests can bring some of la dolce vita home with them. The new Dooney & Bourke collection is covered with symbols of a stereotypical Italian getaway, as well as Mickey and Minnie for that extra Disney touch. Mickey steers a gondola down a Venetian canal while Minnie uses a trendy Vespa to get around. Italian flags and cones full of creamy gelato stand out on a black background. Words like “cappuccino” and “tiramisu, ” as well as “grazie” and “ciao” remind us of the atmosphere we crave in our day-to-day lives. Just because you aren’t in Italy, doesn’t mean you don’t deserve to take it slow and soak it in from time to time!
This new collection is available in Epcot’s Italy pavilion as well as at Disney Spring’s Ever After Jewelry Co. & Accessories. They vary in price, from the smallest one costing $198 and the largest costing $268 before tax or AP discount. If you like these, be sure to keep an eye out for others like them. Disney recently released a Parisian collection as well, so we remain hopeful that more of Epcot’s pavilions will be honored with collections of their own.
