The pixie dust has finally begun to settle at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, revealing a gorgeous port of entry and colorfully clad lobby. Caribbean Beach is one of many resorts to receive upgrades this year in an attempt to improve guest convenience and immersive theming, and the results are, in true Disney fashion, magical.
There is an adorable area for little ones to watch Disney classics while mom and dad complete check in at the desk! Matching tropical colored stools fill the area with the perfect size seating for kids to sit back and relax. Mom and dads get those MagicBands activated while they are kept busy.
Be sure to stop by Calypso Trading Post, a merchandise location stocked with classic Disney souvenirs and merchandise. Of course, they also offer everything one could need while on vacation.
As an added convenience, several outlets have been added throughout the open lobby so guests may charge their devices while relaxing in the communal seating areas.
Recharge and relax at the same time! I can see this being super handy.
Centertown Market, a quick service location, mimics the ambiance of an indoor Caribbean street market. They now offer “grab’n’go” fare, customizable Latin-inspired entrees during breakfast and dinner, and various American favorites for even the pickiest of eaters.
Adults may enjoy Caribbean and Latin style cocktails, beer, and wine at either the Banana Cabana Pool Bar, or Sebastian’s Bistro, a nautical themed table-service restaurant.
The quaint island charm of the Caribbean is all around, thanks to these new additions at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort! We are loving our visit so far and can’t wait to spend the rest of our week in this oasis from home!
