Disney’s Aulani Resort Combines The Best Of Both Worlds

AulaniResort

For those of you who think Disney is just Theme Parks and rides and characters, think again! Disney is MUCH more, and one of their more recent expansions is their Disney’s Aulani Resort on the island of O’ahu in beautiful Hawaii. It’s an amazing place, and well worth the cost. So what can you expect on your trip to Aulani? Read on to find out!

AulaniRoom

Accommodations – These rooms are among the nicest I have ever seen, featuring 2 queen beds or 1 king bed, a TV/DVD player, refrigerator, deep soaking tub, and a private porch/balcony. Different views are available, as are fancier suites (for a higer price, of course). The one downside might be that for those of us who are used to Walt Disney World Value Resorts, the room prices might be somewhat of a shock, with standard rooms starting around the $300 range and going up from there (depending on the time of year you are traveling). However, with the rooms and amenities being so nice, it might just be worth the cost!

Entertainment – There is plenty to do at the Resort, including nightly storytelling and hula performances on the beach, movie nights, swimming (complete with water-slides and a lazy river!), snorkeling, character meals, boat rentals, bars and lounges, a full service spa and fitness center, nightly luaus, relax and get tan on the beach, play golf, and so much more, There’s never a dull moment at Aulani, that’s for sure

Food – The choices are endless, from buffets, to signature dining, to the beachside bar, to a Disney character breakfast , to several Quick Service Options, you can experience some classic Hawaiian fare served with a Disney flair – all fresh and delicious

Nearby attractions – When you’re at Aulani, you have the change to experience the rich culture and natural beauty that Hawaii has to offer, with horseback riding, surfing, hiking, and ocean excursions, plus tours that can take you to Pearl Harbor, on Scuba Diving expeditions, Dolphin/whale watching tours, sightseeing/cultural tours, and even helicopter tours of the island. You can choose to stay at the Resort or to branch out and take advantage of all the great things to do on O’ahu

“Disney” Magic – Even though you may not technically be “at Disney”, you still will feel some of that Disney Magic that they are best known for – they pride themselves on offering amazing service to all their guests, and at Aulani they have dedicated themselves to providing that personal attention you have come to expect from Disney. Plus, the Disney Imagineers worked extra hard to help you experience the enchantment and legends of Hawaii when you visit Aulani

And as if all that weren’t enough, Aulani is currently making some enhancements that will mean more food and fun for all!

Personally I can’t WAIT to celebrate my 5 year wedding anniversary in Aulani, soaking up the sun and fun! What about you, would you consider traveling to this tropical paradise?
