Boo to you! The Fall season is now in full swing at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. The Disney After Hours Boo Bash had its opening night on August 10th and we went in person to experience the new seasonal event. It’s a frightfully fun event featuring Halloween-themed cavalcades, character sightings, trick or treating throughout the park, and more!

First, we want to make it clear how this is primarily an After Hours event and not the same thing as Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. What do we mean by saying that? Well, the After Hours events were made for those who wanted to enjoy a night with reduced crowds and certain snacks included in a unique ticket event.
The event officially begins at 9:30PM, but the event ticket gives you admission to the Magic Kingdom from 7:00 PM. Wristband distribution will be available at Monster’s Inc Laugh Floor in Tomorrowland and Tortuga Tavern in Adventureland from 7:00 PM for guests already inside the park. For guests arriving after 7:00 PM wristbands will be given at the Magic Kingdom main entrance.
We did say certain snacks were included! Guests who attend the event can go special food cart locations for unlimited popcorn, Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bars, soda bottles, and water bottles. There are special treat stations scattered throughout the park as well, but we think it’s important to note how these snack items are included in the ticket.
We had such a fun time last night at the first Disney After Hours Boo Bash! From trick or treating, low ride wait times to free snacks and more, we had such a great time.

For those who might have missed it, one of the highlights was the Character Cavalcades that roamed through the Magic Kingdom.
