Disneyland will not require proof of vaccination unlike Universal Hollywood

LA County in California recently changed its Covid mandates and now requires most businesses to require proof of vaccination. Universal Hollywood now requires guests to show proof of vaccination or a negative Covid test before entering the park. Disneyland, however, will not require proof of either in order for guests to enter.

The Disneyland Resort is located in Orange County which does not have the same mandates as LA County. Disneyland’s health and safety guidelines read:

The State of California strongly recommends that all Guests be fully vaccinated or obtain a negative COVID-19 test prior to entering the Disneyland Resort. All Guests (ages 2 and up) must wear face coverings when indoors, including on many attractions and in enclosed transportation vehicles, regardless of vaccination status. Face coverings are optional in outdoor common areas for all Guests. If planning to travel, please check and follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations and any State travel advisories. Do not travel to or enter Disneyland Resort unless you are free of any COVID-19 symptoms and otherwise comply with the requirements of such advisories and restrictions.

Disneyland will not be requiring proof of vaccination or a negative Covid test in order to enter the parks. The resort does have a mask requirement though. Masks are required for all guests while indoors and recommended for non-vaccinated guests at all times.

Orange County is not considering having a vaccine requirement like LA County but all residents are strongly encouraged to wear masks indoors, with unvaccinated residents being required to.
