Disneyland sells out of top tier Dream Key Annual Pass

Disneyland announced today that ticket prices have been increased. Along with the price increase, the top tier of annual passes has sold out.

The Disneyland Dream Key is the top tier of the new Disneyland annual pass program. This popular pass comes with benefits such as free parking, unlimited visits with no blockout dates, and 6 Park Pass Reservations at one time. The pass had only been available for about 2 months and now it’s sold out.

The Dream Key gives guests up to 15% off of select dining, up to 20% off of select merchandise, and includes standard parking. If you were hoping to purchase this pass, you’ll have to wait as they are currently sold out.

The problem being that they did not remedy the situation they were trying to correct when they were complaining about Over-Crowded parks and Low revenue.
They initially said they were going to remove the monthly payment option which would have cut out A LOT of the easily accessible market, hence correcting the over-crowding. Because MOST people can’t afford the rediculous prices they are charging all in one lump sum.

The low revenue coming from the AP holders crowding the parks and No tourists wanting to visit. Resulting in stalled revenue.

But then they just re-named the Annual Passes and started all over again.
