Disneyland Permit Hints at End Date for Hyperspace Mountain
Disneyland previously announced the Hyperspace Mountain overlay for Space Mountain will be returning on April 28, 2026. A recent permit suggests that the sign will be removed in early June.

The latest permit filings from Disneyland have finally shed some light on the timeline for this year’s Hyperspace Mountain run. According to the city records, the resort has requested to install the specialized marquee overlay for the attraction starting around April 17. This temporary signage is slated to remain in place through June 1, providing the first real indication of how long the Star Wars takeover will last.
While the “Season of the Force” festivities bring plenty of excitement to Tomorrowland, the exact end date for the attraction’s overlay is often a mystery. However, with the permit set to expire on the first of June, it appears the high-speed chase through the galaxy will wrap up just as May comes to a close. Fans looking to catch this limited-time version of the coaster should plan their missions soon, as the ride officially launches into hyperspace on April 28.
