During the historical and exceptional closure of the Disneyland Paris resort, which is due to open July 15th! This significant donation is part of the company’s ongoing commitment to supporting the local community, which would not have been achieved without the incredible dedication from the Cast Members working behind the scenes alongside Disney VoluntEARS. By providing this support, they were able to help those most in need.
Through this initiative, Disneyland Paris donates many food supplies, including fruit, vegetables, snacks, dairy products, drinks, sweets and much more were redistributed to national associations including Secours Populaire Français, the Red Cross, Restaurants du Coeur and local social grocery stores such as Oasis à Serris, supporting those that need it most. Furthermore, Hospitals and EHPADs in the Île-de-France region benefited from donations, such as rain ponchos, which were distributed to healthcare professionals in collaboration with Fondation Hôpitaux de Paris – Hôpitaux de France.
That’s not all- Disney VoluntEARS also distributed protective masks to the community of Serris, a town near Disneyland Paris, as well as supported schools upon reopening, by helping teachers in activities and offering children magical moments with fun workshops.
The Disney VoluntEARS also created small educational tutorials from their homes, to support children currently hospitalized during confinement. These videos were accompanied by supply kits to practice the tutorials and were distributed accordingly.  Additionally, several thousand toys were distributed to children in hospitals. These actions are all part of Disneyland Paris’ social responsibility approach, which has been in place since its opening in 1992.
