Beautiful New Nametags Will Soon Be Seen at Disneyland Paris

Almost all Disney fans can recognize the famous name tags that are worn by all Cast Members across Disney properties. They are not only a symbol of tradition within the company, but also often represent current celebrations that are happening at the parks. The name tags also invite personal interactions between visitors and Cast Members to make all who visit feel like a welcomed guest. Now, as a part of the celebration of the 30th Anniversary of Disneyland Paris, Cast Members have been given the opportunity to vote for their next name tag design.

On April 12, 1992, Disneyland Paris officially welcomed guests for the first time after years of imagination, planning and development to bring Walt Disney’s magical dream to life in Europe. Three decades later, the Resort has continued to expand with new stories, characters and adventures, enchanting people from all over the world.

And if we are here today, it is because of the amazing people who make a difference each and every day: our cast members. They’re at the heart of everything we do, providing magic for the young and the young-at-heart.

An important part of our tradition among cast members at Disney Parks around the world is wearing a nametag. It allows us to interact on a first-name basis with not only our guests, but also our fellow cast members.

Today, we’ve started to write the story of our 30th Anniversary together with our cast. For the very first time in the history of our Resort and The Walt Disney Company, we are giving them the opportunity to choose the design of our next nametag! See more about this exciting announcement below!
