The Disneyland Resort monorail is closing for refurbishment once again. The monorail will close on January 24, 2022, and there is no set date for its reopening.

The monorail was introduced to guests in 1959 as “the Highway in the Sky”. Changes have been made to the monorail over the years but today, it takes guests from the Downtown Disney District to the Tomorrowland station in Disneyland.

The monorail just returned to service on October 15, 2021, after undergoing a refurbishment. We aren’t sure how long it’ll be closed this time.
