Plan Ahead: Disneyland Lightning Lane Premier Pass Now Available 7 Days in Advance
To enhance the guest experience and streamline park planning, Disneyland Resort has extended the advance purchase window for the Lightning Lane Premier Pass. Guests can now secure their access up to seven days prior to their visit.

Disneyland Resort is expanding the purchase window for the Lightning Lane Premier Pass. Effective Tuesday, February 25th, guests will be able to purchase the pass up to 7 days in advance of their park visit. Those with Walt Disney Travel Company packages can purchase the pass 3 days prior to arrival, based on availability.
Disneyland Resort’s update brings its Lightning Lane Premier Pass purchase window in line with Walt Disney World’s, ensuring consistency across both resorts. Walt Disney World recently extended its purchase window to seven days for all guests, regardless of hotel status.
Disneyland’s Lightning Lane Premier Pass is a premium, paid service that allows guests to significantly reduce their wait times at a wide selection of popular attractions within Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. Unlike the standard Lightning Lane system where guests make individual attraction selections, the Premier Pass provides a one-time access to each available Lightning Lane attraction. This means that with the Premier Pass, guests can essentially “skip the line” at participating rides, entering through the faster Lightning Lane entrance, without needing to pre-book specific time slots. It offers a higher level of convenience and flexibility, allowing guests to experience more attractions in a shorter amount of time, though it comes at a higher cost.
