We previously brought you the news of the Disneyland horses of the Circle D Ranch participating in the Norco Labor Day Parade. These beautiful horses were showing off their special show harnesses which were handmade at the Disneyland Resort. The harness features an impressive decorative piece called a “Scotch Top” along with inlays of leather and Disneyland motifs.
It’s always a special day when we get to see these special harnesses. They are made for single horses to wear and usually the Circle D horses pull in pairs. The Labor Day parade was a special event where multiple horses were out representing the Disneyland resort and “Chief” was the lucky horse that was chosen to wear the “Scotch Top” special harness.
Check out the video below and learn more from Circle D Ranch Guest Service Manager Jen Gable about the “Scotch Top” and see Chief proudly wearing it.
