Disneyland has just reached an agreement with local cast member unions to return to work!
According to the OC Register Disneyland has reached return to work agreements with 11 employee unions that will allow Disney’s Anaheim theme parks to bring back their workers with a host of new COVID-19 health and safety measures in place.
Disneyland has reached return to work agreements with Workers United Local 50, Master Services Council, Independent Employee Services Association, Craft Maintenance Council, and International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees.
While there has no reopening date announced yet this is one step closer to getting the Disneyland Resort back up and running, as both Disneyland and California Adventure have been closed since March of 2020 due to COVID-19 and California State restrictions.
Governor Newsom will meet with the theme parks this week to determine if it is safe to reopen Disneyland, Universal Hollywood, and other California based theme parks.
