Disneyland Guests Will Be Given Bathroom Passes For Long Lines At Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. You can check the date of this article, but you read that right and it is not an April Fools Day joke.
According to People.com, Disney has announced a system is being put in place to offer guests bathroom passes so they may be able to step out of line to use the bathroom while waiting in the long lines expected at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Disney has also stated there will be planned entertainment through Cast Performances, Interactive activities such as Disney Trivia, and via the Play Disney Parks app, all themed around the Star Wars franchise. There will also be beverages and snacks available for purchase while waiting in the long lines.
Though guests attending the opening of the new land at Disneyland on May 31st will require a reservation through their stay at a Disneyland Resort Hotel in order to even visit Galaxy’s Edge, the lines are expected to set unprecidented records for wait times in Disney Parks history.
Disney has yet to say how they plan on implimenting this system during the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, but have stated that this is not a new procedure, and claim to accomodate a guests need to leave a line for any reason, at any time, year round. With the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in August 2019 we may see similar plans and activities being implimented during the opening of the new land at Walt Disney World Resort.
