Big Changes Coming to Disneyland’s 2025 Holiday Entertainment

Disneyland has confirmed significant adjustments to its holiday entertainment lineup for 2025. Notably, the “World of Color – Season of Light” nighttime spectacular will not be presented this year, with the newer “World of Color Happiness!” show from the 70th anniversary celebration continuing instead. Additionally, the “Paint the Night” parade will be temporarily paused during the holiday season. These changes highlight a blend of traditional holiday offerings with elements from Disneyland’s ongoing 70th-anniversary festivities.

The Paint the Night Parade has returned to Disneyland as part of the 70th anniversary celebration. When the holiday season begins, however, the parade will take a pause. Disney Parks Blog said, “Paint the Night parade and other entertainment experiences will pause temporarily during the holiday season and resume at a later date.”

For the 2025 holiday season, Disney California Adventure will not feature the annual “World of Color – Season of Light” nighttime spectacular. Instead, guests can continue to enjoy the “World of Color – Happiness!” show, which is part of the ongoing Disneyland Resort 70th-anniversary celebration. This change has been confirmed on the official “Season of Light” webpage.
