Disneyland is Getting Spooky With An All-New Halloween Party. Guests of all ages fall under the enchantment of the Disney Parks during the holidays. One of the most anticipated events is the seasonal Halloween Party and Disneyland is gearing up for a spectacularly spooky good time!

From Sept. 6 through Oct. 31, 2019 both Disneyland park and Disney California Adventure park will be transformed into dreadful delights with seasonal attraction overlays, Halloween-themed décor and food and beverage offerings, plus encounters with dastardly Disney villains, happy haunts seem to materialize around every corner!

Disneyland Park sill be dressed up in beautiful décor on Main Street, U.S.A., including a giant Mickey Mouse jack-o’-lantern and Pumpkin Festival. Haunted Mansion, celebrates its 50th anniversary this summer and will be transformed into its annual holiday theme – Haunted Mansion Holiday – inspired by the Walt Disney Pictures classic film “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.” And for the first time in nearly a decade, all guests visiting Disneyland will get to enjoy a version of the supernatural projection and special effects show – “Halloween Screams.” This nighttime spectacular of lights, music, and an immersive environment into the worlds of the dastardly Disney Villains, adds to the spooky fun on most nights of the season. On select nights, “Halloween Screams” will go sky high when the show is enhanced with the addition of fireworks!

Oogie Boogie has returned and taken over Disney California Adventure park with stylish Halloween decor along Buena Vista Street and this year, new Halloween magic on the façade of Carthay Circle will feature bats swarming around. You may also encounter a 10-foot-tall statue of the Headless Horseman holding his jack-o-lantern head to the sky on Buena Vista Street. Cars Land will celebrate Haul-O-Ween as Radiator Springs turns into Radiator Screams! For this hauntingly happy time of year, Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree will transform into Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree while Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters changes into Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween. In Hollywood Land, Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! will transform nightly into Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark.

In Paradise Gardens Park portion of the park, Plaza de la Familia will return for a celebration inspired by the spirit of Día de los Muertos. This immersive and festive experience celebrates Disney and Pixar’s beloved film, “Coco,” and the everlasting bonds of family with exciting live entertainment, craft making, delicious food, interactive experiences and special merchandise. Throughout the day, “A Musical Celebration of Coco”, a beautiful, festive performance where Miguel joins the Storytellers of Plaza de la Familia. Performing in this special, limited time show is the Grammy® Award winning Mariachi Divas, who will tell the exciting story of young Miguel’s fantastical journey to the Land of the Dead.

Just like candy, we saved the best piece of news for last! Disneyland will be the host of an all new Halloween Party, Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party!

The new Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party adds to the spooky fun of Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort. Oogie Boogie Bash, which takes the place of Mickey’s Halloween Party, begins Sept. 17 for 20 select nights at Disney California Adventure park. This separately-ticketed party is packed with exclusive new entertainment and experiences, including the new “World of Color” spectacular – “Villainous!,” character encounters, immersive treat trails and more!
