Make-A-Wish Central and Northern Florida President & CEO Anne Cuba expressed the power of this program best: “My heart lights up every time I drive because I see so many Disney license plates and know the impact. $3 million can bring so much happiness and hope to families in need.” Thanks to this tremendous support, more than 300 Florida families have already experienced unforgettable wish trips and life-changing moments.

Let’s meet some of the amazing kids whose wishes have come true, thanks in part to Disney and the generous community of Florida drivers.

First up is Vyla, a little girl who longed to visit Walt Disney World with her family. During her treatment, all Vyla wanted to know was when she could visit Cinderella Castle again. For her, Disney symbolized hope and magic, a bright spot in a difficult journey. When her wish was granted, her mom Kirsten shared, “It was more than we could have dreamt of. I couldn’t hold back the tears walking into the park because it was a moment we didn’t know we would see.”

Then there’s Samai, who had a different kind of dream—she wished for a camper so she could travel with her family and experience nature, from beautiful sunsets to peaceful forests. “It was an amazing moment when her wish was granted,” her father Anthony said. “I see the happiness that this has brought her and our whole family.” Since receiving the camper, Samai and her family have been making memories on trips that bring joy and healing.

And finally, we meet Ashlyn, whose dream was to have her bedroom transformed into a safe, sensory room that would be a perfect haven for her needs. Her mom Tiffany described the impact: “It was an overwhelming relief for us as parents when her wish was granted. It’s such an exciting, lasting gift for Ashlyn, and we are so grateful.”

With stories like these, it’s clear that the magic doesn’t stop at the theme parks—thanks to the support of Disney and Florida drivers, these life-changing wishes continue to make an incredible difference for children and their families. And the best part? More wishes are yet to come!
