For those with dreams of exchanging vows at Walt Disney World, Disney Weddings announced plans today to give their Wedding Pavilion a “new look” with a refurbishment that promises the same magical surroundings but with updated decor.
Nestled on the shores of the Seven Seas Lagoon between Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort , the venue boats breathtaking views across the water with Cinderella’s Castle showcased through the giant atrium window behind the altar.
The concept art shown above reveals that among the projected enhancements will be the addition of chandeliers and new seating for the 250 guests that the venue can accommodate.
Here’s a picture of the Pavilion’s current interior.
As of going to press, Disney has not released any information regarding closures or a projected completion date. Guests interested in planning a magical Disney Destination Wedding should visit disneyweddings.com for further details.

I’m so glad. This has the perfect setting, the perfect view…it needs to have an equally appealing chapel. If I ever marry, I want to do so at Disney, but didn’t want to in that dated decor. It’s due!
