Meet the Newest Executive Chef at WDW Swan and Dolphin Resorts
The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort has announced the promotion of Devin Queen to the esteemed position of Executive Chef. Chef Queen brings a wealth of experience and a deep-rooted history with the iconic resort to his new role, promising an exciting chapter for its culinary offerings.

Queen’s impressive 24-year tenure with Marriott includes 22 dedicated years within the Swan and Dolphin’s diverse food and beverage landscape. His journey began as a sous chef at the acclaimed Shula’s Steak House, where his culinary talent quickly shone, leading to a promotion as restaurant chef.
He further contributed to the resort’s culinary excellence as the opening restaurant chef for the popular Il Mulino New York Trattoria before taking on the significant responsibility of complex banquet chef for the entire property.

Chef Queen’s passion for the culinary arts ignited at a young age, with his first foray into restaurant kitchens as a dishwasher at just 12 years old. This early exposure fueled his ambition, leading him to hone his skills at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America (CIA) in New York. There, he mastered the fundamental principles of cooking that have served as the bedrock of his successful career.
Stepping into the role of Executive Chef, Queen envisions a collaborative and guest-centric approach. He emphasizes the importance of teamwork, aiming to consistently satisfy guests while fostering an environment of mutual respect among his colleagues.
“This is an enormous role where you want to succeed,” Chef Queen stated. “My goal is to succeed while staying grounded at the same time.”
Beyond the bustling kitchens of the Swan and Dolphin, Chef Queen enjoys pursuing his personal interests, including teaching himself to play the guitar. He also cherishes spending quality time with his family and his two beloved canine companions.
With his extensive experience, dedication, and collaborative spirit, Chef Devin Queen is poised to lead the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin’s culinary teams to new heights, ensuring exceptional dining experiences for all who visit.
