The more we see of the changes coming to Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort the more excited we get about seeing the finished product. Disney released a sneak peek this week of some of the expansions and enhancements coming to this much-loved moderate resort and we are so excited to share them with you.
Already underway, the expansion will include several new features including a two-story grand lobby. When guests arrive they will enter through a new upper lobby located on the second level of the resort. This lobby area will offer an open floor check-in process. Down on the lower floor, there will be a 16-seat lounge and a coffee bar providing the perfect hang-out for conventioneers and business travellers before meetings.
The expansion will also include a new 12,00o square foot event lawn with lakeside views perfect for receptions, group picnics or dinner events.
The renovations will also make it easier than ever to get around the property due to a series of bridges and covered walkways that pass through an outdoor island oasis.
