March 2025: Disney World Refurbishment & Closures
We have the current Disney World refurbishment and closure schedule! For those visiting in March, please note that several rides will be closed for maintenance. To ensure a smooth trip, review the list of affected attractions and adjust your itinerary. And remember, these changes are made to enhance the park experience for future guests.

Epcot
Test Track is currently undergoing a major reimagining to become Test Track 3.0, and is expected to reopen later this summer after several months of closure.
The Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros is currently closed for a short refurbishment, but mark your calendars for its reopening on March 15th.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
A new Zootopia show is coming to the Tree of Life later this year, leading to the permanent closure of It’s Tough to Be a Bug on March 17th. Make sure to experience this classic attraction before its final performance on March 16th, after nearly 27 years.
Kali River Rapids is currently undergoing its winter refurbishment, having closed in January. Unfortunately, a specific reopening date remains unconfirmed, however, the Disney World website says the attraction will open in “March 2025”.
Magic Kingdom
Guests will have to wait until 2026 to ride Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, as it’s currently closed for enhancements that will bring ‘extra magic’ to the attraction.
Fantasyland’s Dumbo the Flying Elephant Playground is undergoing a multi-month refurbishment and will remain closed until Spring 2025.
The Hall of Presidents attraction has been closed since January 20th, and at this time, no reopening date has been established.
Astro Orbiter is undergoing a multi-month refurbishment and is scheduled to reopen sometime this summer.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios doesn’t have any closures on the schedule for March.
