Disney World Raises Prices on Buffet and Character Dining Amid Resort-Wide Hikes in October 2024

Walt Disney World Resort has implemented price increases for several of its popular buffet and character dining experiences, effective October 23, 2024. This adjustment comes amidst a wave of price hikes across the resort, including recent increases in annual pass prices.

While Disney has not officially announced the specific reasons for these price adjustments, they likely reflect rising operational costs and the ongoing demand for these popular dining experiences.

Disney World has also raised prices on snacks at the theme parks as well. You can read more about that here.

Guests can expect to pay more for both breakfast and dinner at several character dining locations, including Chef Mickey’s, Topolino’s Terrace, and ‘Ohana. Buffet prices have also been adjusted at restaurants like Boma and Biergarten as well.

These price increases may be disappointing for some Disney Addicts, but it’s important to note that character dining and buffets remain highly sought-after experiences at Walt Disney World. The opportunity to interact with beloved Disney characters while enjoying a delicious meal is a unique and memorable aspect of a Disney vacation.
