Disney World Railroad Spotted

Disney World Railroad Spotted Making the Rounds at the Magic Kingdom. We have written extensively about the Disney Train since it originally closed back in 2018. Each time we wondered when we would see the Steam Powered Locomotives running around the perimeter of the Magic Kingdom. Well, the wonderful news is we are seeing the trains run daily now.

We heard it before we saw it, and when we saw it pull into the Main Street Railroad Station, the crowd erupted into applause and cheering. The Walter E. Disney steam-powered train chugged its way down the track, stopped for a moment, and then moved onto the Frontierland Train Station.

The next day, we saw the Lilly Belle Locomotive pulling into the Fantasyland station. Now, we are seeing the trains run daily. Testing the new tunnel, and the new tracks, in and under the new Tron Lightcycle/ Run roller coaster.

With the trains actually testing daily now, we are closer than ever to being able to live out our childhood again riding aboard one of the Disney Trains. This has been a long time coming, and it has officially become the longest closure of an attraction at Disney’s Magic Kingdom.
