This has been coming for a while. If you have ever been on a ride with someone using a Selfie Stick than you know how annoying and dangerous it can be. If you have been to Disney World lately I am sure you have seen at least one of these.
Disney World is cracking down on their use. You will NOT be able to use your Selfie Stick on a ride or attraction. However you CAN use it in the park.
Cast members that are greeters, so to speak, in front of attractions will inform you that your Selfie Stick will have to be put away on the ride. If you are seen using one on the ride they will make announcement over the PA for you to please put it away or the ride will be stopped.
So, use them all you want outside in the parks, just try not to invade someone else’s space with your Selfie Stick!
