Disney World no longer leaving trash cans open

In a small sign, things are slowly returning to normal, Walt Disney World is no longer leaving trash cans open. We were at the Parks and Disney Springs yesterday and noticed the changes. Including signage being removed from the sides of the trash cans.

Disney had removed most lids and held open the swinging doors on all trash cans around the Resort as a precaution since Walt Disney World reopened last summer after shutting down for the pandemic last spring.

Disney has been relaxing some of the enhanced safety measures they have had in place. Following local and state guidelines. Sometimes even being a little more strict with the rules.

Below you can see the social distancing signage that was previously on all trash cans. Now it appears only 1 or 2 have the signage left on them.

We also heard from Disney yesterday regarding moving the social distancing down from 6 feet to 3 feet in some spots.
