Disney World Monorail System Down Site Wide for Second Day. Tough day for Walt Disney World transportation as the Skyliner is down for refurbishment, and now the word is the Monorail is down for the second day in a row, with no word when it will be running again
All lines are down for the time being and buses are being deployed. Magic Kingdom to TTC and the TTC to Epcot lines are all down.
For the time being, the only way from TTC to Disney’s Magic Kingdom is by Ferry Boat or bus. You can also find a bus running to each resort along the monorail line. No word if there are multiple bus runs to each resort or 1 bus running all 3 resorts right now.

Magic Kingdom park, EPCOT and select Disney Resort hotels are just minutes away by monorail.
The Walt Disney World Monorail System has 3 separate lines that travel throughout Walt Disney World Resort.
The Resort Monorail makes the following stops:
- Magic Kingdom park
- Disney’s Contemporary Resort
- Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
- Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
- Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC)
The EPCOT Monorail and the Express Monorail originate at the TTC and offer express round-trip service to EPCOT and Magic Kingdom park.
Hours of Operation
- The Resort Monorail and Express Monorail begin operating 30 minutes prior to when Magic Kingdom park opens and stop one hour after Magic Kingdom park closes.
- The EPCOT Monorail begins operating 30 minutes prior to when EPCOT opens and stops 2 hours after EPCOT closes.
