Disney World is Extending Weekend Theme Park Hours in October

Guests visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in the first few weeks of October will get extra time to enjoy the parks. Now through October 12, all four parks will be open extra hours on the weekends.

This coming weekend, October 2-4, Magic Kingdom will be open an extra hour from 9 am to 7 pm. Epcot will be open an extra 2 hours from 11 am to 9 pm. Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be open an extra hour from 10 am to 8 pm. Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be open an extra 2 hours from 8 am to 6 pm.

The following weekend, Friday, October 9 to Monday, October 12, the parks will be open even longer! Magic Kingdom will be open from 9 am to 8 pm. Epcot will be open from 11 am to 9 pm. The hours at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will not change that weekend. It will be open from 10 am to 7 pm. And Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be open from 8 am to 6 pm.

There’s no word if park hours will be extended on the weekends the rest of October, but stay tuned! We will update if anything changes.
