The Orlando Area Amusement Park injury report for the first quarter of 2016 has been released, we have the list of Disney World injuries here for you.
Two of the seven injuries reports were at the Great Movie Ride, which is a slow-moving dark ride. Theme parks have to report any ride-related injuries or illnesses which requires an immediate hospital stay of at least 24 hours.
In the first quarter a total of seven people were hurt on Walt Disney World rides:
Disney’s Hollywood Studios – 80-year-old man with a history of motion sickness temporarily lost consciousness on The Great Movie Ride, also on The Great Movie Ride, 41-year-old man with a pre-existing condition had numbness and felt dizzy and 19-year-old woman with a pre-existing heart condition fainted while boarding Toy Story Mania.
Magic Kingdom – On Space Mountain a 17-year-old girl temporarily lost consciousness and fell after riding
Epcot – 57-year-old man with a pre-existing heart condition felt ill after riding Mission: Space and Test Track, they did not report what type of illness this was.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom – During a VIP tour, Wild Africa Trek, a 73-year-old woman became disoriented.
