Disney World hiring is an amazing article we get to write! After all the bad news of the layoffs and furloughs. Many of our friends and family members did not know if they would ever get the callback. At the height of the layoffs, Josh D’Amaro announced a total of 28,000 cast members had lost work! In the Orlando area, a total of 179,000 jobs may have been lost due to covid in 1 year!
We are so happy to hear the stories of so many being hired again. Trust me, we have been following a lot of the Facebook groups of Cast members. This is great news for us in the Orlando area! How many of us have had to go to a food pantry giveaway, or rely on friends and family members while waiting for unemployment? How many of y’all volunteered? Well, it looks like the grey sky is clearing a little.
