Signage will soon be installed at the new Spaceship Earth lounge in EPCOT
Disney has filed permits for new signage at EPCOT’s iconic Spaceship Earth, but don’t expect major changes to the ride itself just yet. According to the documentation, these permits are likely tied to the forthcoming Spaceship Earth lounge, set to replace the former Siemens corporate lounge that overlooks World Celebration.

Known for providing unique views of the park, this refreshed space promises a comfortable spot to unwind and enjoy refreshments away from the hustle and bustle of the main walkways. While official details in the permit are sparse, we know that Design Communications Ltd. will be installing the signage, having recently handled projects for the Magic Kingdom Disney Vacation Club lounge and Test Track.

Disney has described the new lounge as a “zen space” featuring design motifs inspired by the geometric exterior of Spaceship Earth, warm metallic accents, and sophisticated textures. Guests can look forward to “delicious culinary creations,” panoramic views of EPCOT, and a prime vantage point to catch the nightly fireworks display—all while embracing the lounge’s theme of honoring the past, present, and future of EPCOT’s iconic centerpiece.
