Disney World Extending Theme Park Hours for Thanksgiving Week

Planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort for Thanksgiving week? You’re in luck! Disney has announced extended park hours from November 24–30, 2024, giving guests even more time to enjoy the magic of the holidays. Whether you’re exploring Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, or Disney’s Hollywood Studios, these updated hours are perfect for making the most of your Thanksgiving visit.

Magic Kingdom

The holiday season shines brighter with extra hours at Magic Kingdom! Guests can start their day earlier, as Early Entry now begins at 7:30 am instead of 8:30 am. Most days, regular park hours kick off at 8:00 am—one hour earlier than previously planned. For those staying late, the park will stay open until 11:00 pm on Monday, November 25, and Thanksgiving Day, November 28, adding two extra hours of nighttime magic.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Nature lovers have more time to explore Disney’s Animal Kingdom, as evening hours have been extended. From November 24–26, the park will remain open until 7:00 pm, giving visitors an extra hour to enjoy Pandora – The World of Avatar, the Tree of Life Awakenings, and other iconic experiences.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is also joining the holiday fun with adjusted hours on November 25. Early Entry will now begin at 8:00 am, 30 minutes earlier than scheduled, and regular park hours will start at 8:30 am instead of 9:00 am. These changes are perfect for guests hoping to maximize their time on thrilling attractions like Rise of the Resistance or Slinky Dog Dash.
