Refurbishments and closures are a regular thing at Walt Disney World. Some months have more closures than others. Here are the refurbishments and closures scheduled for April 2022.

Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park has been closed since early this year for its annual refurbishment. We don’t have a set reopening date for the water park yet, but guests can enjoy Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon instead.
The Walt Disney World Railroad in Magic Kingdom being closed is no surprise really. It has been closed since the end of 2018 due to the construction on the new attraction, TRON Lightcycle Run. We have no set reopening date for the railroad but we have seen the trains running tests recently. Hopefully it won’t be too much longer before we can experience the railroad again!

Expedition Everest in Disney’s Animal Kingdom has been closed since early January. It is currently undergoing a lengthy refurbishment and was said to be reopening “mid-April”. However, it is currently listed on the refurbishment schedule through April 30, 2022.
Souk-al-Magreb, a small gift shop in the Morocco pavilion at Epcot has been closed for some time now. The shop was originally supposed to reopen in February but the refurbishment has been extended. The current opening date is scheduled for April 24, 2022.
Some resort pool areas are also being worked on right now. At Disney’s Art of Animation Resort the Cozy Cone Pool is closed until mid-April. Over at Animal Kingdom Lodge Villas – Kidani Village the Samawati Springs Pool is closed through April.
Also, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is currently undergoing some construction. New DVC villas are being rolled out at the resort which means some rooms are getting a transformation. The new villas should be available by this coming summer.
