Cast Members at Walt Disney World are now using phrases like “Friend” and other Gender-Neutral Terms when addressing guests visiting the Theme Parks & Resorts in an effort to be more inclusive.

Going forward instead of using terms such as Sir or Ma’am or even Prince or Princess, Cast Members will address individuals without assuming their gender identity.

Recently Cast Members at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique receive new Gender Neutral Titles ahead of Reopening. Cast members were previously called ”Fairy Godmothers in Training” but will now be called ”Fairy Godmother’s Apprentices”.
Disney announced in 2021 the addition of “Inclusion” as the 5th key, which serves as the guiding principle for the company’s culture.
