Disney World 50th Anniversary Medallion Removed from Cinderella Castle

Overnight Disney pulled down the 50th Anniversary Medallion from the front of Cinderella Castle in the Magic Kingdom. The bunting and spire ribbons still remain on the castle. Disney has confirmed that removal will take place over an extended period of time.

When we were in the parks on April 1st to see the Let the Magic Begin Welcome Show with Mickey & Friends sporting new outfits the 50th Anniversary Medallion was still there.

Disney World has been slowly removing all of the 50th Anniversary Decorations from around the Magic Kingdom.

They have also been removing all mention of Disney World 50th in all of the Theme Park Guide Maps.
