Local Disney Hotel workers say swine flu or not, they can’t afford to call in sick, because they don’t receive paid sick leave. There’s a move in congress to require employers to grant paid sick leave in wake of the H1N1 pandemic. Al Naipo was at Disneyland, where workers staged a protest.

In an effort to halt the spread of H1N1, also known as swine flu, Walt Disney World this week installed dozens of hand sanitizer dispensers throughout the theme park, the Orlando Sentinel reported.
The gadgets also now grace Disney World’s hotel lobbies and character meet-and-greet areas.
Disney also is reminding visitors of basic health safety tips on fliers that list park hours and show times. Among the suggestions: Cover mouths while sneezing and wash hands regularly.
